The most Powerful Organ - The Heart
The way the heart operates is really amazing. The way it pumps and brings life to the entire human system. Missing a beat will be fatal and the whole system will be collapse and shut down. The very fact human biological functions are heavily dependent on it just is simply amazing.
The heart is not just involved in the biological functions. It feels and displays a vast array of emotions. You cry when you are heartbroken. You laugh heartily when you are happy. You drop tears when you feel moved deep down in your heart. Your emotions are undeniably linked to your heart. You feel with your heart. You see with your heart. And the most cliche advice people never fail to give: Follow your heart.
My heart has been broken many a times. Maybe not as severe as what most people have gone through. But battered enough to feel the ache and the pain. It maybe be almost 4 weeks but it just feels helpless when your heart aches when you miss the person and when you think about him. Happier may the days have been for the past few weeks but deep down inside my heart there will always be a place that is locked up with the memories. This is also the place where the person will always live deep deep down. Just have to learn to be careful not to unlock it as it will be liken to open Pandora's Box.
But for now the door to that part of the heart is partially closed but not quite yet locked. May the day will come when i find strength to slam it shut and lock it.
