juz finished reading a novel recently....To Live by Yu Hua..it is in fact a translation of the original novel which was in Chinese...it's so far prob the 3rd novel that has brought tears to my eyes..ha...it's not exactly sth wrote in sophiscated language nor exciting content that would appeal to most pple..juz a simple tale abt a Chinese man n his family living in poverty..and how poverty killed all but him....but tt's not exactly the pt...it made mi realized how happiness cant be bought by monetary gains..but sth tt's priceless and sth we have to learn to seek and treasure...u can be poor but happy too! i may not be terribly poor or terribly wealthy, but i have learnt to seek happiness thru cheap and affordable ways....seriously...i mean im speaking from the view of a person who has not even sat on a plane before...n im dead serious..hoho...
